“The Regional Training Center – Talisay is one of the ten skills center established by the Government in affirmation of its commitment to the development of the country’s manpower resources. Financed by a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, it was built by the Department of Education and Culture through the Education Projects Implementing Tasks Force on a 3.2 hectare site donated by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental to the National Manpower and Youth Council. The building was completed on April 15, 1977 and inaugurated on September 2, 1977 by Imee R. Marcos. As of July 2022, RTC Talisay has 21 registered programs and 32 assessment centers. The Center is manned by 13 regular staffs and 15 support staffs and operating with a budget of 1.6 million a year.”

with diesel or gas engine in accordance with manufacturer’s specification. It also covers
servicing of engine mechanical components such as cooling and lubricating system;
performing power train and underchassis servicing and repair.

that will enable him / her to prepare tools, painting materials and equipment; prepare surfaces (wood,
concrete, drywall and metal) for painting and assembling access equipment; and perform painting work.

The COOKERY NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person
must achieve to clean kitchen areas, prepare hot, cold meals and desserts for guests
in various food and beverage service facilities.

must achieve in installing and maintaining landscape designs for all types of development
projects including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and open space areas. It also
includes competency in growing plants and trees with a goal of creating beautiful and

IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; API 1104 Code for Gas and Oil Pipeline
